We are committed to providing prompt, fair, tough, and professional representation, and are experienced in counseling clients who have been involved in accidents caused by others in Portland or any of the surrounding areas. If you have sustained an injury and are in need of assistance, a Portland attorney can help.

Our personal injury attorneys are knowledgeable in a wide range of personal injury cases, including AUTO ACCIDENTS, MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENTS, TRUCK ACCIDENTS, CAR ACCIDENTS, BIKE ACCIDENTS, PREMISES LIABILITY, "slip and fall" cases, and WRONGFUL DEATH lawsuits.

When you select Corbridge & Hogan to assist you with your Oregon personal injury claim, you will be treated with understanding and compassion while receiving the highest level of legal representation available. As we aggressively pursue your case, you will stay fully informed on its progress and receive the individual attention you deserve.

We offer a free initial personal injury consultation in our office, your home, or even a hospital room, depending on what you need. This initial visit is free; we work on a contingency fee basis. If we accept your case, we recover our advance cost from your recovery, as well as our fee. If we are unsuccessful, you are responsible only for the court costs. In a contingency case, you pay nothing for our time if we are unsuccessful.

We have open, frequent communication with our clients. We are dedicated to helping personal injury victims reclaim their lives and receive the just compensation they deserve for their injuries and losses.

It is important to speak to a Portland accident attorney promptly after an accident to ensure an immediate investigation and therefore protect your rights. Even legitimate claims will eventually be barred by the Statute of Limitations. Do not let your rights slip away as a result of inaction. At Corbridge & Hogan, we protect your rights, challenge evidence presented against you, and offer the guidance and resources you need to be successful in court. We represent clients that are facing felony, misdemeanor, traffic and other charges in court. A criminal conviction can have lasting, negative consequences. We work hard to minimize or eliminate those consequences. At the Corbridge & Hogan, we understand that a proper defense is critical. We will stand as your aggressive advocates in court and put forth our very best to protect your rights.

If you face any of the following charges, call an attorney at Corbridge & Hogan before you talk to anyone else.

DUII / DUI / DWI

If you have been accused of an Oregon DUII offense, you need an Oregon DUII attorney. Period.

Our Oregon DUII defense team is led by a former Multnomah County Prosecutor, Edward Kroll. Mr. Kroll spent significant time as Portland's "DUII Deputy," a prosecutor position focused solely on Oregon DUII trials and Oregon DUII laws. His inside knowledge gives his clients a huge advantage in their legal battles.

DUII defense is one of the trickiest areas of the law and there is a body of law all unto itself to determining how a charge of a DUII moves forward, both though the district attorney's office and through the department of motor vehicles. The consequences of a DUII conviction are severe. There are mandatory minimum fines, fees, sentences, and license suspensions. Having an attorney to navigate through this battlefield of law, which is decidedly stacked against your, greatly increases your chances of having your case dismissed or resolved in the manner least intrusive to your life.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants is a serious crime with serious consequences. Many people are unaware that you can be convicted of DUII even if you blow less than .08. In fact, there are several ways someone can be convicted of DUII. A person can be convicted of DUII if he or she operates a vehicle on premises held open to the public and:

1) Has a blood alcohol content of .08 or above

2) Is under the influence of intoxicating liquor, a controlled substance or an inhalant

3)Is under the influence of any combination of intoxicating liquor, an inhalant and a controlled substance

The phrase "under the influence of intoxicants" probably sounds vague and difficult to describe. That's because it is. This phrase gives prosecutors broad discretion to charge someone with DUII, even their blood alcohol level is less than .08. In order to obtain a conviction under this standard, the prosecutor must prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the person's ability to drive was "adversely impaired to a noticeable and perceptible degree." With such a vague standard it is important that you have legal counsel to represent your interests.

The purposes and options for estate planning are broad, and it is important to meet with an attorney to discuss what may be the best means to plan for your needs.

The Oregon Landlord Tenant Act places certain demands on the relationship between residential landlord and tenants. Many times landlords are too late in finding out how the law applies to their relationships. Conversely, tenants are sometimes caught off guard by notices demanded by landlords. If you are in need of advice regarding your landlord tenant relationship, call Corbridge & Kroll at 503-352-9360 for a free consultation.
